Only four more days until the release of Long Shot, my Corbin’s Bend spanking romance novella. Watch for it on Wednesday, June 18. Oh heck, you don’t need to watch for it–you can be sure I’ll tell you about it.
Welcome to Saturday Spankings, in which authors present eight sentences from a work of spanking fiction. Of course, I’m excerpting from Long Shot. Abby and Harris have been fixed up on a date by her Aunt Quincy. He was invited to dinner. He volunteers to do the dishes to get Abby alone in the kitchen so he can kiss her.
He broke away to lean his forehead against hers. “I’ve wanted to do that all evening,” he said.
“I wanted you to,” she answered.
He moved in for another kiss.
“Do you need any help in there?” Aunt Quincy called from the other room, and Abby jumped.
“We’re doing fine, Aunt Quincy,” Harris yelled back, his eyes glinting with humor.
She didn’t find it as amusing as he did.
“Are you sure?” her aunt asked.
Abby Delaney moves to Corbin’s Bend to work at her aunt’s antique store to recover from a painful divorce. She gets more than expected when she meets sexy, charming Harris Montgomery, a local businessman and tennis pro, a man who seems to be the exact opposite of her ex-husband. Through Harris, she discovers her submissive side when he introduces her to spanking good times, and she begins to trust herself again. But when the relationship progresses to a deeper level, she discovers Harris and her ex share more in common than she’d thought. With future happiness on the line, can she risk surrendering her heart on a long shot?
