11 facts about my husband…

I’ve shared a number of details about me, but do you ever wonder about “Mr. Cara Bristol?” The man behind the author? Here are a few tidbits about my husband.

  1. He is the most competent person I know. A true jack-of-all-trades, he can do just about everything including: fixing the car, figuring out other mechanical stuff, carpentry, electrical wiring, baking, preparing a meal, sewing a button on his shirt.
  2. He’s a tough, macho outdoorsman, but he doesn’t like sports. He never watches football or any other game on TV.
  3. He’s been working since he was 10 years old. His income as a teenager helped to support his family. His sister doesn’t know it, but he bought her prom dress.
  4. He’s a good friend, the kind of person you could call at 2 a.m. with a problem and he’d say, “I’ll be right over.”
  5. He is at his absolute best during a crisis or emergency. He is deadly calm.
  6. He was a fireman for 25 years.
  7. He is impatient and easily irritated.
  8. He is 100 % loyal. He would never, ever cheat.
  9. He doesn’t like asparagus, watermelon, artichokes or cucumber.
  10. He loves mashed potatoes and gravy. And me. But not in that order. At least I think so. LOL.
  11. He would hate being called Mr. Cara Bristol.
