A lot will happen in my blogosphere this coming week. A convergence will occur the week of April 11-18. Many of these events have been in the works for months, even longer, but they’re all coming to fruition in a short time span.
Monday, April 11 – Erotic romance author Cassandra Carr will guest blog here on carabristol.com. She has a few words to say about how to bring life to a sex scene so the reader feels it. You’ll be able to read an excerpt from Cassandra’s debut novel, Talk to Me, published in March by Loose Id. Drop by on Monday and say hi to Cassandra.
Monday, April 11-17 – I’ll be guest blogging every day for a week at novelspot.net for its “Behind the Scenes” look at novel writing/publishing. I’m going to spill the beans about my own rocky road to publishing—the things I did right, the things I did wrong. Each day will feature a different aspect of my writing career.
Thursday, April 14 – I’m blogging at Romance Writers Behaving Badly about the late entertainer Mae West who turned sexual innuendo into an art form.
April 14-17 – The Red Lipstick Journals is having a caption contest with the randomly chosen winner receiving a $20 Amazon gift certificate. To enter, become a follower of RLJ and post your comment about what is going on in the photo. (Warning: It’s a trifle risqué).
April 18 – I’ll have a new complete short story on Red Lipstick Journals—Call Me Desiree. It’s a little poignant, a little erotic and I think, a little surprising (there’s a twist at the end).
Looking at these dates, I can’t believe how fast the month is going! Wasn’t it just April 1 a few days ago?
