Tomorrow I have the pleasure of interviewing fellow Loose Id author Pauline Allan about her debut novel, See Me, which features a heroine who owns a porn company. The heroine makes movies for the internet. Of all the authors I’ve spoken with, Pauline gave one of the best interviews ever. Her answers are as candid and interesting as the research she had to do to write the book.
I’m reading See Me now, and it’s wonderful. Her characters and the scenario feel very real. Please join me tomorrow and find out more about Pauline and her new novel.
Next week, on April 13 Decadent Publishing releases my vampire romance, A Scent of Longing. A vampire romance on Friday the 13th. How perfect is that? A Scent of Longing is my fifth published book, but my first paranormal. It’s part of Decadent’s 1Night Stand series, involving a matchmaking dating service run by Madame Evangeline. Here’s a blurb:
Lily Dansen refuses to date vampires. The last time she trusted a one, he turned her. She reluctantly agrees to a date arranged by 1 NightStand, believing that a quick tryst is all that’s left for her. A half-vampire, half-human Luc Fortier can’t continue to satisfy the vampire fantasies of young ladies while his dreams go unfulfilled. He vows to bedazzle one last date before he calls it quits. Neither Luc nor Lily expect more than an evening of passion, but they haven’t counted on Madame Eve’s superior matchmaking skills.
You can get a quick taste of A Scent of Longing by dropping in this Sunday for a short six-sentence excerpt.
There’s still time to vote for The Romance Review’s best books of 2011. My domestic discipline novella, Unexpected Consequences, was nominated for best erotic bdsm romance. I’d love to have your vote. You can vote here.
