#SatSpanks: Melania learns the consequences the “3 Ds”

Melania manages to commit all three “ds” — disrespect, disobedience and dishonesty — when she disobeys a “request,” then lies about it and acts snarky with her husband Jared. She’s about to learn the consequences, Unexpected Consequences:

Naive bride marries a man who spanks & discovers the secrets of the Rod and Cane Society.

“When you obey my requests—no matter how trivial they may appear to be—you demonstrate your trust in me; you acknowledge your faith that I have your best interests at heart. Do you think I would ask you to do something I didn’t think was right?”

She shook her head. “No.”

He stroked her cheek with his thumb. “Not only did you defy me, but you lied about it and attempted to hide it. You have to learn your behavior will have consequences.”

“But a spanking?”

  1. Thianna D says:

I love how loving he is being with her here, trying to make her realize what she did was wrong, even as all she can concentrate on is the fact she really doesn’t want a spanking.

  2. Maybe she could have gotten an A for effort instead? Like a 5-point handicap?

  3. Great book, Cara. The reader can tell just how much Jared cares for Melania, even though he intends to punish her for the 3D’s. Wonderful snippet.

  4. Unexpected Consequences is a perfect title for this book because Melania never anticipates that she will do anything to deserve a spanking…or if she does she assumes she can flirt her way out of it…but she’s slightly mistaken on both counts.

  6. Sheri Savill says:

My first blog hop! I hope I haven’t fucked up here. Anyway, love the excerpt. Adding a fourth D — damned good. No wait, that’s a DG. Well, shoot, I tried. 🙂

  7. I loved these stories, Cara.
    Great excerpt.
I love her confusion and acceptance, and his unyielding, yet safe authority.
    Mmmmmm, very yummy

  8. Sounds like the hammer is about to drop. Love the name Melania, too. Just don’t spell it wrong or you’ll get fired. (Sorry, couldn’t resist the Apprentice reference)

    • Cara Bristol says:

Thank you! Had someone doubt that Melania is a real name. Yes, I named her after Donald Trump’s wife. Loved the sound of the name.

  9. I love his gentle explanation for what trust is. Great Excerpt Cara 🙂

  10. Renee Rose says:

    you’re a tease. I want the spanking!

  11. Louisa Bacio says:

Cara — You make the excerpt look so easy. I’m enthralled!

    Love the build up here.

  13. Paloma Beck says:

Oh, Melania. I think this may have been my very first DD book I’d ever read. She was quite something – definitely learned through her mistakes.
