My five-year authorversary is coming up, and I have a big celebration planned on my blog. I need a logo that says, “festive and fun.” You should know I have created these myself, and my graphics skills are limited! Please help me choose a logo by telling me which one of these you prefer and why:
Option 1 -Confetti on white background
Option 2, lavender confetti:
Option 3: Pink star:
What do you think???
Option 3: Pink star
I like the others as far as the ribbons and confetti because it seems more celebration based but the words are a little difficult to read. They kind of blend with the ribbons.
Great job though on them and yay for the authorversary. 🙂
Thank you, Stephanie.
I agree with Stephanie. I really like the ribbons and the confetti, but the words are harder to read.
Option #3 gets my vote, Cara, and congratulations on your anniversary!
Thank you, Erika.
There’s something about lavender – like #2
Thanks, Donna.
Option 3 – it is easiest to read and fitting for celebration!
Smiles!
Thanks, Dawn.
Congratulations on your authorversary. The pink star definitely pops and stands out. Have fun.
Thank you, Renee.
You can’t go wrong with any of them. I do think I like the pink best, very pretty. 🙂
Thank you, SJ!
I like number three for the ease of reading it – but I like number one for the fun look.
Thanks, Lisa.
The third one (pink). It’s easiest to read and I think it matches your site the best. Happy almost authorversary!
Congratulations on the Authorversary! I go with choice #3. I loved #1 but it was too hard to read and #2 seemed subdued – you want to partay, as they say! Best wishes.
I think the 3rd one is the most clear. Congrats on the Authorversary!!
I like number 3! It’s very pretty. 🙂
The third one.
I like the third one – and I see it has most of the votes as well 🙂
#3 jumps out, I like it the best, congratulations Cara! I look forward to reading your books for many more years.
Thank you Karla, Veronica, Natasha, Adaline, Mace, and Thianna. Pink seems to be winning. I do like the confetti, but readability is important.
Pink Star – the others are just too busy for the eyes to focus at first.
Thank you, Jo.
I think #1 is the most fun and festive. I think I am already out voted though. You did a great job on all three! Congrats on the upcoming author-versary!
Thanks, Casey. I do like the festiveness of no. 1, but it is harder to read and because it’s white on white, I think it blends into the background. I had feeling no. 3 was going to be the popular choice.
Congratulations, #1 is my selected choice. =)
3 because the others were super hard to read, and number 3 gives off a “I’m fun and flirty” vibe – lol
ok, I’m the oddball in the group of replies. 🙂
I really like the purple.
It’s fun, and light, but not too young and whimsical.
Congratulations!
I like the first one! Congrats on your authorversary!!
I like number 3 the best because it’s easier to read. Number 2 is a close second though. Happy Authorversary! 🙂
I like #1 but #3 is easier to read. They all look fun and festive.
CONGRATULATIONS
I like the curly ribbons on #1. Congrats on five solid years. Here’s to many more!
option #3
Congrats and Happy Anniversary!! I’m going with majority on this one. I like the pink, but number two is an ironic close second. 🙂
#3 -Pink… but… where’s the paddle? 😀
I actually have a photo of a paddle on pink satin. I never thought to use it! Maybe because I’ve used it so many time on my blog already.
Thank you, everybody for all your comments here and on Facebook. It looks like the pink star logo is the clear (though not quite unanimous) winner.
I like the pink one. 🙂
Option 3
Very nice, simple design. The others are too busy.
Number 3. I like how the pink matches well with your website and the ease of reading the text.
