It’s Margaret’s wedding night. Henry carries her over the threshold. He has a score to settle…

She wiggled her feet for him to set her down, but he wended toward the bed, and she found herself butt up over his lap. “What are you doing?” she squealed.

“I did not forget the discussion I promised you.” He flipped up her dress. Her skirt and petticoats landed on her head and his hand on her bottom.

“Henreeee…no!” She kicked and flailed her arms, trapped in the voluminous fabric. Another stinging swat glanced off her rear on the opposite side.

“I warned you not to smash cake in my face, but you chose to disobey.” He smacked her three times.

“I’m sorry. I meant it as a joke.”

“Would you have thought it funny if I’d smeared cake in your face, if it had gotten into your hair and on your dress?”

That wouldn’t have been amusing at all. “That’s different,” she said.

Educating His Bride Blurb

From coed to bride. College was never this naughty…

It’s the 1950s. Never much interested in her studies, Margaret Atwater attends college hoping to graduate with an Mrs. degree instead of a bachelor’s. When she catches the eye of English Professor Henry Thurston, she’s thrilled to marry him, drop out of school, and begin a new life as a married woman and faculty wife. However, Henry is a kinky man who has much to teach his eager young bride—in, and out, of the bedroom. As Mrs. Henry Thurston, Margaret’s sexual education has just begun.

Educating His Bride was previously published in the short-lived anthology Correcting the Coeds. It is being released as a single title now.

  1. If someone had smashed cake in my face, I’d be mighty mad too! This girl definitely needs a spanking LOL!

  2. PK Corey says:

He’s starting right from the first and that’s the way it should be!

  3. Leigh Smith says:

It’s always different if it’s not happening to you, isn’t it. I think Henry has things well in hand and is setting the tone for their marriage.

  4. I can imagine that Margaret thought the cake smashing was a harmless jest, but since he specifically told her not to do it, and she did it anyway, he needs to make his point. Ignoring a request as if the person’s feelings didn’t matter is not only wrong, it’s disrespectful. I’m totally on Henry’s side on this one, though I feel sorry for Margaret because she thought she was only playing.

Oh, I liked this. Though starting off the honeymoon escapades with a spanking might not be my first choice, smashing cake in one’s face is not a very smart thing to do! Nice excerpt.

  6. LOL! I love her cheeky reply: “That’s different.” Sounds like a great book.
