You may have heard that 10% of the first month’s proceeds from the sale of Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space 2 will benefit Hero-dogs.org. If that’s all you saw, you might think, pets, dogs…animal charity gets a donation.
Hero-dogs isn’t about dogs! It’s an organization supporting U.S. military veterans by providing service animals free of charge. It isn’t the dogs who benefit–it’s the veterans.
In keeping with the action-oriented nature of science fiction romance, many of the heroes and heroines are military, and in Pets in Space, the animals support those heroes–just like the canines of Hero-Dogs.
Saturday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, the last day that your purchase of Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space 2 can support veterans.
As my thank you for visiting, if you leave me a comment, I’ll mail you a bookmark for free. Tell me about the veteran in your life, about your pets, about Pets in Space–anything. After you comment, email me at carabristol50 (at) yahoo (dot) com and give me your mailing address so I can send you the bookmark.
This free bookmark offers ends at midnight, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.
