Happy Authorversary to me!! My 10th year as a published author

Ten years ago this month I signed my first publishing contract with Black Velvet Seductions, a small ebook publisher.

I went on to have books published by Loose Id, Decadent Publishing, Lazy Day/Blushing Books. I completely changed genres (from spanking romance to science fiction romance). I went indie, and I hit the USA Today Bestseller list twice.

To date, I’ve written and published 40 stories. I say stories, not books or titles, because some repackaging has occurred. Some novellas were originally published in anthologies and then later released as individuals titles. Some individual stories were later anthologized. In a few cases when publishing rights reverted to me, I changed the book’s title when I released it as an indie publication. Some of my early books are “out of print” and are no longer available.

Here’s a complete list of the stories I published in a decade, with the genre and the original publisher listed. If no publisher is listed, it was released as an Indie publication.

And there you have it–the complete list!

This year so far, I’ve published two brand new novels, Alien Mischief and Under Fyre, compiled all four Alien Mate series books into a boxed set, and updated and released an older title, Warrior’s Curse. I have three new Intergalactic Dating Agency novellas planned for the fall: Sixx, Kord, and Braxx.

Being an author is my dream job. Thank you all for supporting me. I’m looking forward to the next ten years.

I enjoyed writing that story a lot, but it was part of another author’s world, and I plan to focus on stories set in the worlds that I create.

Thank you for everything. You have kept us in touch, in the loop and in sync with you, even to the point of replying to us directly when we contact you. I has been a true pleasure being one of your loyal readers. My congratulations on your decade of success and my wish for a continuation of that in the future. FYI – You had me at the Rod and Cane Society, so I miss the spanks, but kept coming back for the sci-fi.
