Important info for Cara Bristol newsletter subscribers

Do you subscribe to my author newsletter? Have you looked at it?

Before long, I will have to pay for my MailChimp newsletter service based on the number of subscribers, so I will begin removing inactive subscribers from the list. By inactive, I mean those individuals who have never opened the newsletter since they started receiving it. Some people have won prizes, but never opened the newsletter to find out they won!

This first review will affect those people who signed up between November 2014 and April 2015.

New subscribers will not be affected! If you just signed up and haven’t received a newsletter to open, don’t worry. You’ll still be on the list.

If you subscribed a while back, want to receive the newsletter, but don’t recall getting it—check your SPAM folder. You may need to add the newsletter to your email address book. Add cara@carabristol.com. More importantly, open the newsletter! Most recent issues were sent out on January 4, 2016 and February 9, 2016.

My author newsletter is the best way to get the info about new releases, contests and freebies.

Any time you decide you no longer wish to receive the newsletter you can unsubscribe by clinking on a link at the bottom of any newsletter. Unsubscribing is actually easier than subscribing.

If you’re not currently a subscriber, you can sign up here. Expect the next issue to arrive March 15, 2016.

My goal is to have a subscriber list of readers and fans, not just names. Some people joined up just to enter a contest, but aren’t particularly interested in my books. If someone hasn’t opened a single newsletter in over a year, I’m guessing they’re not going to. But on the chance the newsletter might be going to spam, I want to give everyone a heads up.
